When it Rains it Pours!
When you hear the word “flooding” you don’t normally think of Wisconsin. However, a continuous downpour of rain has left many parts of the state under water. This video shows some of the damage the rain is causing - It’s unbelievable!
We were in Oshkosh up until the end of May, but left before all of this flooding started...so we haven’t witnessed it first-had, but I’ve talked to my parents on the phone--they got 6 1/2 inches of rain yesterday alone! They also told me that 75 percent of the roads in Oshkosh are completely flooded.

That house belonged to one of the families from the swim team I coached. They have 3 little girls and had just moved into it at the beginning of the summer. It has been very hard on them but our swim team was able to raise some money for them through a swim-a-thon we had a couple weeks ago. And they continue to receive help from people.
