It’s Great to See Friends!
This past week we had the opportunity to spend three days with some of the friends who went through New Staff Training with us in January. We all attended a conference together that focused on financial stewardship as new staff members of Campus Crusade. It was wonderful to be reminded of how we can glorify Jesus in the way we manage our finances--we received great counsel from senior staff members about handling money wisely for a long-term career on staff.
New Staff Training - Our Classes
New Staff Training is composed of several different things! The past two weeks, our focus has been on theological development. We, along with the 130 other new staff here, have just finished two seminary courses—Intro to Christian Theology and Bible Study Methods.
For the next few weeks, we’ll be looking at the big picture of campus ministry all over the world, learning what it means to cross cultures as missionaries to lost university students of all cultures, and learning how to further develop a team of financial and prayer ministry partners. We’ll keep you updated on it all—for now, here are some pictures from our weeks of classes!

Meeting Vonette Bright
One of the awesome opportunities we’ve been given at staff training is to hear a bit about the history of missions, and specifically, the history of Campus Crusade. Dr. Bill Bright, Campus Crusade’s founder, went to be with the Lord a few years ago, but his wife, Vonette Bright came and spoke to us. It was amazing to hear stories of all that they’ve seen the Lord do over the last 57 years.
We got a special chance to meet and talk to Vonette over dinner with a few other staff. It was a priceless time!
