Why do we work with Campus Crusade for Christ? Because we want to help fulfill the Great Commission by reaching the world’s 110 million college students.
In the power of the Holy Spirit, we desire to win students to Jesus, and build them up in their faith. Our long term goal is to send them out as Christ-centered laborers, either into full-time or marketplace ministry! We want to see students everywhere embrace the purpose, love and forgiveness that God offers them in a relationship with Jesus.
After interning with Campus Crusade for Christ in Russia for 1 ½ years, we joined long-term staff with Crusade in January 2008. We feel called to minister in two specific areas with the campus ministry: First, we want to have a direct impact on the unreached students of the world. Over 2 billion people in the world have still never heard the Gospel! We want to be a part of reaching students who literally don’t have a chance of ever hearing the good news about Jesus unless someone goes and tells them. Second, we desire to see the Lord use us in the context of big cities. In the next 20 years, 60% of the world’s population will be urban, and we want to go where the lost are going!
